THORNTON, WILKINSON TO JOIN ROBERTS, OWEN FOR GILROY'S 'DUPLICITY' (VAR, THR)
By Nancy Vialatte
Billy Bob Thornton and Tom Wilkinson are set to star with Julia Roberts and Clive Owen in "Duplicity," the next film to be directed by Oscar nominee Tony Gilroy. The Universal Pictures drama was also written by Tony Gilroy and will be produced by Laura Bickford and Jennifer Fox.
Wilkinson is re-teaming with Gilroy following his supporting actor Oscar nomination for the Gilroy-directed "Michael Clayton."
Thornton and Wilkinson will play the CEOs of rival pharmaceutical companies racing to corner the market on an innovation that will bring wild profits. Roberts and Owen play corporate spies who try to manipulate which corporation will win, writes Variety.
The movie is set to shoot in March and April in New York.
