Aniston, Butler team for bounty hunter comedy (VAR, CIN)

Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler are in negotiations to star in an untitled bounty hunter project at Columbia. Andy Tennant is attached to direct the comedy about a a bounty hunter hired to retrieve his ex-wife, who has skipped bail. Variety reports that the studio is looking at a May start.
Sarah Thorp wrote the script. Neal Moritz is producing through his Sony-based Original Films.
Last month, it was rumored that Aniston had enlisted Butler to star in a women�s prison musical, �Goree Girls� after they had been spotted meeting. Those reports remain unconfirmed.
Aniston, who next stars in "Marley & Me," also has three films in the can: "He's Just Not That Into You," "Traveling" and "Management," which she also produced.
Butler, who most recently appeared in "RocknRolla" and "Nim's Island," will next be seen in the thriller "Game" and the romantic comedy "The Ugly Truth" opposite Katherine Heigl.
