Sale of Hollywood Reporter, Billboard, other Nielsen titles finalized

Nielsen finally announced Thursday its long-anticipated sale of the Hollywood Reporter, Billboard, Ad Age and other trade publications.
Journos will be dismayed to hear the the venerable Editor & Publisher, which was not part of the sale, will be shuttered.
Official word of the sale came from The Wrap, Bloomberg and the Los Angeles Times, among others. The Wrap said the sales price was between $70 million and $75 million.
