James, Vaughn to buddy up for Howard-directed infidelity comedy (DH)
By Nancy Tartaglione
Kevin James will join Vince Vaughn in an as-yet untitled Ron Howard-directed comedy for Universal. The film, which spins around infidelity, is Howard's next directing vehicle, from a screenplay by Allan Loeb. Howard is prepping a spring start in Chicago, according to Deadline.com.
James and Vaughn will play best friends and business partners. Vaughn is tortured about whether or not to tell his pal when he observes his wife getting intimate with another man.
The comedy came from an idea by Brian Grazer, who will produce with Vaughn and the actor's Wild West Picture Show banner. Imagine's Kim Roth is executive producer.
