Berg's-Frisbey lures role of mermaid in Disney's fourth 'Pirates ... : On Stranger Tides' (HWT)

Barcelona-born actress Astrid Berg's-Frisbey has been cast as the mermaid Syrena in Jerry Bruckheimer's "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides," Disney's fourth installment of the phenomenally successful franchise inspired by the famed Disneyland ride.
Johnny Depp reprises as the flamboyant Jack Sparrow.
Berg's-Frisbey has appeared in French films "La Fille du Puisatier," "Bruc," "Extase," "La Premiere Etoile" and "Un Barrage Contre le Pacifique."
Directed by Rob Marshall, "On Stranger Tides" sets sail in June filming in Hawaii, Great Britain and Los Angeles to arrive in theaters May 20, 2011, the studio said.
