Fincher eyeing Vi$$er for 'Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'? (VUL)

Vulture is reporting that David Fincher has singled out Die Antwoord singer Yo-Landi Vi$$er as the model for private investigator Lisbeth Salander in his forthcoming adaptation of the bestseller "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo."
Whether Fincher specifically hopes to get Vi$$er herself for the Salander role is not clear. Insiders at William Morris Endeavor - which reps Die Antwoord - cautioned Vulture that "while we know Fincher really likes her, it's not clear if that role is real yet."
Other movie studios have also been calling WME inquiring about Vi$$er's availability and interest in acting, says the blog.
Carey Mulligan has also been rumored for the Salander part, as has "Twilight" star Kristen Stewart, though she recently told David Letterman she's too busy to even think about trying for the role.
