Jordan to direct 'Skippy Dies' (SCR)

Neil Jordan will write and direct the feature version of Paul Murray's novel "Skippy Dies." Screen Daily reports that Jordan will collaborate with regular producers Stephen Woolley and Elizabeth Karlsen of London based Number 9 Films. James Flynn of Littlewave Film Productions is also producing.
Per Screen, the story is billed as "South Park" meets Tom Brown's "School Days" and follows the adventures of two unlikely roommates, Skippy and Ruprecht, at a public school in Ireland.
