Is this 'Spider-Man's new love interest? (HV)
By Nancy Tartaglione
The Heat Vision blog reported yesterday that the process to narrow down candidates for the female lead Marc Webb's rebooted "Spider-Man" has begun. Actresses are meeting with Webb and actor Andrew Garfield to vie to play the love interest -- who will not be Mary Jane Watson. HV has a partial list of the actresses under consideration.
They include: Imogen Poots, Ophelia Lovibond, Lilly Collins, Teresa Palmer and Emma Roberts.
What isn't clear is whether the actresses are auditioning to play Gwen Stacy, Parker's other love interest in the comics, HV says.
