Meg Ryan to make feature directing debut on 'Into the Beautiful' (VAR)

Meg Ryan will make her feature directorial debut with "Into the Beautiful." Variety reports the comedy-drama, based on a script by Anne Meredith, will be produced by Wendy Finerman and BCDF Prods.
The project, described as a contemporary "Big Chill," is eyeing a September start New York State.
Finerman and Natalie Marciano will produce and Wendy Finerman Prods. exec Lisa Zupan will executive produce, Variety said.
There are no plans for Ryan to act in the film.
