By Nancy Tartaglione

Carrie-Anne Moss and Malcolm MacDowell have joined "Silent Hill: Revelation 3D," it was announced Wednesday. The Michael J. Bassett-directed film is currently shooting in Toronto.

Moss and MacDowell will star as Claudia and Leonard Wolf alongside the previously announced cast of Adelaide Clemens, Kit Harington, Radha Mitchell, Sean Bean and Deborah Kara Unger.

Produced by Samuel Hadida and Don Carmody, the film is the sequel to their earlier Christophe Gans-directed "Silent Hill."

Story follows Heather Mason (Clemens) and her father (Sean Bean) who have long been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn't fully understand. On the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by terrifying nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she's not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her in Silent Hill forever.
