'Bridget Jones 3' in Working Title's diary (EW)
By Nancy Tartaglione
Entertainment Weekly is reporting that the third "Bridget Jones" movie is a go. Working Title is moving ahead with a new installment although no details were available, EW said.
Last month, The Daily Mail relayed a rumor that "Bridesmaids" director Paul Feig was in the early stages of discussions about the film.
Back in March, The Evening Standard reported that Helen Fielding, the author of the books the movies are based on, had begun writing the third novel.
Regarding plot, EW notes that last year, Colin Firth revealed some possible details, saying, "I can tell you that Bridget and Mark can't have children, I think that's the way it goes on. So then she makes the huge mistake of going back to Daniel Cleaver for long enough to get pregnant. And I think he dumps her, and she's left stranded, and guess who comes back to rescue her?"
