Clint Eastwood back in front of the camera with 'Trouble' (VAR, DH, THR)

According to reports, Clint Eastwood is very likely to be returning in front of the camera with "Trouble With the Curve."
Eastwood's Malpaso partner Robert Lorenz is in talks to make his directorial debut on the Warner Bros film.
Per Deadline, Eastwood would play an aging baseball scout, who's losing his sight, and heads on a last road trip to Atlanta with his daughter to scout a hotshot prospect. Randy Brown penned the script.
Malpaso will produce, but the search for the female lead won't begin until Eastwood and Lorenz close their deals.
Lorenz has served as assistant director on Eastwood pics including "Mystic River" and "Million Dollar Baby."
Eastwood had been due to direct "A Star Is Born," but star Beyonce Knowles' pregnancy pushed the film into limbo, leaving Eastwood, who, as THR notes is never one to stand still, with an open slot.
