Hollywood WireTap is an original content and aggregation website for entertainment industry professionals and fans. It was one of the 100 "Sites to Bookrmak Now" by Entertainment Weekly.
The site's founder, Tom Tapp, worked as an editor at Variety for seven years. During that time he created and ran the paper's spin-off lifestyle magazine, V Life. Before Variety he helped launch E! Online, E! Entertainment Television's popular website, where he was also an editor.
Hollywood WireTap is updated continuously, Sunday through Friday with original stories, analysis and links from across the Web. It launched May 1, 2006 and it's exclusive stories have been picked up by The New York Times, The Drudge Report, L.A. Observed, Movies.com and others. It has also attracted notice among journalists who cover Hollywood.
